We recently received some great news! Klamath Country has made a change to the zoning rules for the land that we sell and camping is now allowed 120 days a year, with no county permit needed at this time.
The following screenshot shows what the current regulations from Klamath Country are regarding camping on the land.
Here’s a link to the Klamath County code where the above screenshot came from http://www.klamathcounty.org/depts/planning/downloads/Codes_Plans/LandDevCode/LDCChapter80-Revised.pdf.
After clicking on the link, scroll down until you find “Article 82 Camping”.
Note: Some people buy our lots and decide that they would like to have a full time water source at their property. The lots that we sell are undeveloped and don’t currently have water wells but you can inquire about having a well drilled by clicking here.
Klamath County now has a new ruling for camping and land owners. Permits for outside fires on raw land are required and restricted to land with a physical address. Absolutely no open flames outdoors during fire season. Contact the local fire department for the exact regulations.
