HAS ADDRESS! 30934 Porpoise Ln. Bonanza OR 97623
This lot is on Porpoise. It is a nicely maintained gravel road. It is less than a mile off the state highway 140, old highway 66. It is 200' wide on the road and 497.48' deep. The land gradually goes down slope from the road with wooded areas and open areas. Perfect seclusion. Top some trees and get a view. Community well. Some Manzanita. Some small junipers, mostly ponderosa pines.
This land sits on Porpoise Lane in what is called unit one of Klamath Falls Forest Estates. It is on Bly Mountain, above the small town of Bonanza. This area was subdivided and sold originally in the '60s. There is a road and well association. Many in this unit haul their water from the community well and have a cistern type system. Wells could run 400-600' average. Cost for a 900' well is 40-50K. The Electricity is about 500 foot away. Phone I'm not sure on, but must be close. Phone is underground in the area.

| NOTE: This land is on Bly Mountain, just above the small town of Bonanza. Bonanza is about 25 miles east of Klamath Falls and has a school through high school. Only a few hundred people in the town. Land sits about 30 minutes to the east of Klamath Falls. The elevation is above the valley floor so it gets snow in the winter and is nice and cool during the summer months. Elevation on the valley floor is about 4200' and this lot is probably about 5000' in elevation. Snow in winter could sit for some time. I've seen several feet in this location. People commute from this area into Klamath Falls. Community well! |
