County Info: R469246 Map No. R-3811-015D0-04200-000 2.36 Acres Gross (2.22 Acres Net) M/L being: Lot 10, Block 56, Klamath Falls Forest Estates, Highway 66, Plat 2, Klamath County Oregon.
Power and Phone! Neighbors close. Under 1,000′ to the paved road, Bly Mountain Cutoff Road. Just minutes drive south to Bonanza, a small town about 25 miles east of Klamath Falls. Great looking lot! Easy and quick access.
Scattered Pines. Mostly level. Zoned for one home. Homes in area. “Log Lake” shows on one map I have across the street, yet it is not a lake. It is all dried up unless there is snow run off. There is snow runoff accumulation there in winter. See the brown area across the road from this lot in the last picture. Because of this, I doubt that you’ll have someone build across the street in front of you.
This parcel was turned down for a septic years ago. I believe they dug the holes in the wrong places for the test. There is “log lake” across the road, which floods with winter snow run off. It will take a new site evaluation, with test holes in the right place, or possibly a sand trap filter system, or buying an adjacent lot to get a bit higher ground for the septic.
Note: Lower in elevation than most so a cheaper well should not be the problem it can be in the higher elevations of Bly Mountain. This is Unit 2 and is on the south end of Bly Mountain, close to Bonanza. Scattered homes in the area.
Only a few homes per square mile. Little gravel roads running through the woods. Private. Great for a home or cabin. Manufactured homes are OK.
