Pictures of the Land
Nice land for a home. Sits above the town of Bonanza in what is called Klamath Falls Forest Estates, on Bly Mountain. It is in unit 4 and has a road association that upgrades roads and plows major access roads in winter. ($30/year) This lot is zoned for one home. Perfect for a cabin, manufactured homes OK. Animals OK.
Mostly level heavily wooded in the front, scattered trees in the back. Some open areas.Mostly Ponderosa Pines. Nice privacy on the mountain. Sits only about 300 feet off Kingfisher, a major access road, on what is called Red Deer Lane.
Second parcel on the right. 200 feet in the front by 500 feet deep. Red Deer Ln. is less than 1/2 mile long and ends in the National Forest.
Power and phone is not at land currently, but it is fairly close.
There is a home just to the north on Kingfisher that has power.
If you check the google maps you can see the power lines and poles.
Other homes in area. Deeded road access. Lots of deer and wildlife.
This land is on Bly Mountain, just above the small town of Bonanza. Bonanza is about 25 miles east of Klamath Falls and has a school through high school. Only a few hundred people in the town. Land sits about 30 minutes to the east of Klamath Falls. The elevation is above the valley floor so it gets snow in the winter and is nice and cool during the summer months. Elevation on the valley floor is about 4200 feet, and this lot is probably close to 5,000 feet.
Take Kingfisher east off highway 140 on Bly Mountain into KFFE unit 4. (Across from the unit 1 pumphouse, on sailfish) Go about 1 mile to Hummingbird. Stay on Kingfisher as it turns north. Go about a mile. Red Deer is on the right. Turn right. Second parcel on the right. (South side of the road)
The first parcel is 350 feet wide.
(If you tap on this link while using a smartphone, it may try to give you directions to the lot instead of showing you where it is on a map. If this happens, simply copy and paste the GPS coordinates into Google Maps on your phone’s web browser.)
