County Info: R339299 R-3611-001D0-00400-000 1.57 Acres M/L Being: Lot 23, Block 65, Nimrod River Park 5th Addition, Klamath County Oregon.
Elevation: 4355 ft.
Stunning view of the Sprague River and Sprague River Valley, with the National Forests in the background. This land is about 7-8Ā Miles to the east of the small town of Sprague River, just off what is called Drews Road. This is a nicely paved road that runs along the north side of Sprague River, with scattered homes. The last 1/4 mile of the deeded road access to this land is a rough, narrow dirt road.
Want seclusion and view? This is the one. Down-slope towards the river with Sage brush and few scattered Junipers.
Power and Telephone is probably 1/2 mile away. Many use propane, butane, oil, wood, solar, generators, etc. Want to live off the grid?
Perfect place for a home with a wrap around deck!
Within walking distance of the Sprague river. Klamath County has over 80 lakes and 100 rivers. Great area for migratory fowl and all types of hunting and hiking and riding as well. Many golf courses.
The downside on this lot is poor access to the parcel and high powered transmission lines running through the middle of the lot. The upside is it sits low in elevation for a cheap well and a nice home that sits to the east.
Note: You can live on the land 21 days every 6 months camping. To live on the land while your building requires a TUP, a Temporary Use Permit. To get a TUP, requires an installed septic system and a paid for building permit. This could cost approx. $10,000-20,000 To learn more, click the link and read about building/camping codes: Click Here for more Info.
From Klamath Falls go east on 140 to the town of Beatty. Turn left on Gadawa Springs Road, proceed to the first left, which will be about 2 miles to Drews Ranch Road. About 4-5 miles to Clackamas, turn right. Drive up Clackamas it will bear to the right, under the power lines. There will be an improved road to the left named Lincoln, do not take it. Continue down Clackamas 3/10 of a mile to the land on your right. Clackamas is part gravel and part dirt only. This land is about 3/4 mile off the paved road.
Stunning view! Road not fully developed at this time, perfect for seclusion, a million dollar view, yet close to a paved road. Would not have to drill too far for water as this is just above the valley floor.
