Zoned for one home. Power and phone approx. 2,000′ away on Night Owl and Meadowlark.
Just a few moments off the State Highway 140, on Bly Mountain, 30 minutes east of Klamath Falls.
Good gravel road access.
Mostly gradual down-slope to the south from the road. (Porpoise) Gravel. See picture. Maybe 45′ drop as you walk back 500′. REALLY NICE WOODED LOT GIVING YOU THE FEELING OF THE WOODS ON THE MOUNTAIN. Scattered Ponderosa pines, Cedar, White Fir. Small openings or clearings in which to build. Many small and medium sized trees. Two football fields of land to build on. Possible touch of view over the tree tops with some trees taken out and two-story near road. Would be good for a circular drive into the trees to a natural clearing.
Great land for privacy. Great country living. Ready for the eagles and deer?
The lot is 200′ wide and 498′ deep.
NOTE: This land is on Bly Mountain, just above the small town of Bonanza. Bonanza is about 25 miles east of Klamath Falls and has a school through high school. Only a few hundred people in the town. Land sits about 30 minutes to the east of Klamath Falls. The elevation is above the valley floor so it gets snow in the winter and is nice and cool during the summer months. Elevation on the valley floor is about 4,200′ and this lot is probably 5,000′ to 5,200 in elevation. Snow in winter could sit for some time. Snowmobiles anyone? People do commute from this area into Klamath Falls. Note: There is a community well in this unit. Some people that have built use the water, and haul it from the well and have a cistern that is pressurized. An HOA was set up 6 years ago around the well. There are legal actions surrounding this at this time. More information under General Info.
